Alfred State College is seeking dedicated and skilled adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate court reporting courses remotely. We're especially interested in educators who are confident in teaching both theory and speed building classes and who are committed to excellence in virtual instruction.
What You'll Do:
- Lead theory-based courses covering court reporting fundamentals.
- Instruct speed building classes to help students improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Design and deliver dynamic virtual instruction that engages students and supports a positive learning experience.
- Provide feedback, assess student progress, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Court Reporting.
- Experience working as a court reporter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to active and problem-based instructional methods, such as case studies, simulations, collaborative problem-solving, or other hands-on, learner-centered approaches.
